I did the same, fossie, but usually it took too much time to fix them. That's why I started thinking about some metal-frame construction for plastic side bags. Like BMW owners use.

buy a set of krausers and make them fit! or, look for a set of bmw 'Z' frame pannier mounts, these look less obtrusive when the panniers arent fitted to the bike, theyre made by krauser for bmw anyway so are good quality bits and they arent silly money on ebay!

I used a sports bag this weekend at the farmyard rally, strapped to my seat with a bike holding down strap, took about 30 seconds to fit............its a shame my EX tent wasnt as user friendly..............I just left it in the field at the farmyard when the bag ripped.

The soft panniers that I've got have 2 rubber straps that stay on the seat & the panniers clip on & off these so simple to fit each use time

Maybe there's some complete sidebags kit on the Japanese market, but I doubt it. At the end of the day you will have to follow Johnr's advice and make your own custom kit. Late Krauser carrier systems are a good option.

Thanks pedda! I did find a workshop in Moscow and these guys will make a custom kit (fittings&side panniers made from polished aluminum) in accordance with my request. A little bit expensive (500 euro) but looks great! Till this moment I will drive with soft bags with universal rubber fittings. As soon as new system will be manufactured I will show pics here. Good luck!
