valuation

Post by FBJ » Sat Jul 14, 2012 8:14 am

Hi all. Some of u may know or of seen my 1100sz kat anyway my insurance is due and they have sent me an agreed valuation form. No point in being silly cos they will just say no. I have seen very average ones on eBay fetch 3k. Don't know if it makes it more valuable but its been featured 10 times 3 on the front cover. It's very clean. I'm thinking 5000 or 6000 cos to be honest if someone put 5k in my hand I wouldn't sell it. What do u think ?

i don't think 5 is a piss take by any means.... but then what's the worst that can happen if they don't agree?... lower the value. i'd go higher and see what happens. 5.5 maybe

If a dealer offered you a straight swap for a new GSXr600 (list £8799) on the condition you could not resell it would you accept?

What's it worth to you, what would it cost to replace, where do you get another set of exhausts from?

Don't forget the more you value it at the more the premium.

within reason. you can put a lower value if you like, but when it matters, if you make a claim, an afreed valuation is just that, theres no talking the value up when its too late!
