Know what you mean , eldest daughter (16) passed cbt on a scooter, in August so now she's off to college in a morning at 30 mph.!!

;) You forget how fearless you must have been!
Having followed Robyn out and about a few times , I am more relaxed, her road positioning is good, obviously speed isn't an issue, she asks questions and upto now has acted on advice from her Mum and I.

Next year she will be out and about on the family GS 125 (1983 vintage),so we will go through again...... :?

One of my step lads did his cbt recently, I feared the worst as he has already written off 2 cars, but we have been saved by the fact he has gone to Afghanistan recently.... I don't really know which option is the most dangerous for him !!!! The other one comes off his 33 bhp restriction in feb and is already looking at either a v-max or MT-01, the fool !!!

Well done to your lad.

But on a serious note if he wants to ride a bigger bike.

HE NEEDS TO GET IT DONE BEFORE JANUARY WHEN THE TEST CHANGES OR HE WILL BE BUGGERED.

He would have to do another 2 or 3 tests. and be restricted till nearly 24. If i was him I would be getting it done quick sharp

Tbh If I was him I would have some lessons and get it done soon. riding around on your own is when you pick up bad habits. But on the flip side you need some road awareness. january isn't far off tho. And I would hate to get caught up in that stupid system
