New zorst

OK. So I got my new/old zorst today and it looks cool. Only thing is its missing the 2 middle collars :(

As its all welded up at the bottom how is it possible to get 2 new ones on? Is it possible for the sleeves at the top to come off and then slip the collars on?

Thanks

FOS said the centre ones should slide out and not be welded,he's also interested where you found this rare specimen ;) hope this helps.
I realise that it probably doesn't :roll:

Cheers Smand/Fossie,

Its a ES system that was on ebay. Chris told me that it will fit(fingers crossed)with slight modification to the brackets.

Dont think this is what its supposed to be. The headers are not going to fit - too big. Anyone know what this is from? Exhaust is stamped Suzuki x4937x

Pete :(

Blimey Pete, not much luck then.

That number seems familiar so it might be a 750S system. That being the case you should be able to at least get your money back as they're hard to find.

Your choice obviously but I've probably got a motad you can bolt on for now if you want.

Cheers Chris, will see what happens. I tried a google search on the number and cant seem to find anything apart from some obscure post on Kat Central about a 1100 zorst - restricted ? Am sure someone will be able to identify it. Cant see the replies though.

Am still thinking about trying to repair the old one. I like the shape and sound. Was going to paint it black anyway, so maybe see if it can be repaired/welded.

Cheers

these are both 1100 systems, http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e357/ ... db-1-1.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

yours might well be a stock 750 system, still a good find and you might get a reasonable price for it, incidentally 4930 and 4931 are both parts of the code for an 1100sz system, got pics of the part number pete?
