Bike srorage.
Bike srorage.
Hi all, was wondering if anyone one here has, or has had , any experience with the "pram-hood" style motorbike shelter. I realise they're not going to be 100% secure but i'm going to be using ground anchors as well. This will be more for weather protection really. Any advice/horror stories appreciated. Ta muchly.

Re: Bike srorage.
ive seen them, and they seem ok, again i was looking at one from the point of view of weather protection raher than security, but they seem ok for keeping te rain and snow off. long term however id look at something a bit more, well, indoors! if you plan to keave a bike on one of them shelters for more than a couple of months, id suggest first removing the battery and then putting it in a vac bag with the air sucked out and then in the shelter. its the ventilation in them covers rather than their waterproofing that would concern me. not so much keeping the rain out, but getting rid of the damp air from inside

Re: Bike srorage.
One of my mates had one.
He thought it was great.
He would use it over the winter.
If the bike is dry when it is put in the bike tent, because of the ventilation and no part of the bike tent touched the bike it never rusted.
