Rotor Removing tool
Re: Rotor Removing tool
Ordered the one from the link above, the guy said if you can measure the thread up & take pics or provide a flywheel thats all ready off (if an external thread type?), he will make a tool for the same price as the 1100 one.

Re: Rotor Removing tool
Sorry for the confusion Pedda, I have ordered one for the 1100 now.
I was refering to the one that Fossie requires for a pop up, which can be made up by the same company. Might be worth talking to the guy as he seems to know what fits different Suzuki's., and might have one already.

Re: Rotor Removing tool
Ok it seems we got the supplied 1 to work on the pop up, What is wrong is the bolt in the middle is 3" too short everything else does the job (must do as fly wheel is off) Though a spacer was found in the workshop and fitted . This gave the length, but if we get 1 made the centre bolt will need lengthening.
The said item will be winging it's way back Bobster , Tomorrow with return address, and in a signed for capacity.

Plain English please Fossie !
Did the one I sent you work?

Glad you got the rotor off!

Re: Rotor Removing tool
In short it did work but if you could make one or get one made the centre bolt needs to be 2-3inches longer.

Re: Rotor Removing tool
BOBSTER!!!
I sent the aforementioned tool awy on Tuesday morning....signed for, You got it Yet???????
Actually I know you haven't 'cos I collected it from the post office storting office this morning!!!!
I did wonder what it was they couldn't deliver to me on Wednesday!
On the plus side we know where it is , we know the return address thing works.
All we need to figure out is how/why was it delivered 1000metres from where it started (I'm no 248A and post office 173)
So £4.05 to be delivered to myself.

Re: Rotor Removing tool
That British post services thing is a class of it's own, me thinks. As long as you write the sender on the package you can be sure it will be delivered at least to the sender.
Tell'em that a German bloke is taking the mickey out of that, maybe they'll caught by their national pride...
