Cool, decent bike that.

Probably won't happen as you do lots of miles, but, there is a fault that happens now and then. It's basically fuel starvation. It's the vacuum 'device' under the tank, it gets blocked and wont suck (ooer, :D ). A friend had it happen where he'd go up to town and the bike would just stop, then after a while it would run again. Seemed to run for about a carb's worth of fuel (hence the starvation clue). Remove tank, undo a couple of bolts and the diaphragm goes whoooosh. Clean housing, problem solved.

Oh yeah, didn't think of that. So what's the vacuum thing for? Obviously part of the fuel circuit and like I say once cleaned the bike was fine. Must be something to allow air into the tank, yeah?

Well there you go just MOTd the Bandit so we must've had it nearly a year.
The last dulville finally left our carpark after being parked up under a cover for 11 months.
sold for £1300. Guess what got a message from a magazine asking if I would recommend this bike (Dulville) to a friend. I said "I didn't recommend to the guy we sold it to!"
The Bandit has done 40000miles. tyres michelin road pilot 3 radials (excellent by the way in all weathers) last 8000 miles as do the brake pads.

Are you reading Mr*onda
still original Clutch , discs, Only 2nd chain. dosen't overheat, easy to work on rides in a straight line on motorways.

So good the company may buy another 2 and take on more riders.!
