Watcha Adrian, and welcome.

whereabouts in Kent are you?

There are original zorsts about. Some of the lads on here have them either on their bikes or tucked up in the loft as a investment ;) maybe you could twist some of their arms :)

Hi and welcome,

Can you have a word with the upholsterer and see if he can match the blue of an 1100 Katana seat, this has proved near impossible to match over the last few years, would be good to find someone who can. (also EFE blue I can't find that colour either, it's similar or same blue to a Kat)

Don't think the colour will show up too well in a picture, it's a very dark blue, you say he's new ash green, can you post contact details, maybe Katgeezer can go alone with a seat at some point to show him (he's in Welling)

Thanks for volunteering me Mal!!!

Hi and welcome by the way :D

Thanks for the contact, it's always nice to get new options on things. Our tame seat upholstererererer, stevea, has often said how hard it is to match the blue. I'll give it a go.

And just to make you feel at home, COME ON YOU SPURS!!!! ;)

I wasn't volunteering you Chris, just thought that as your not far you might ? be interested in checking it out.. If need be i'll take a seat along there when i'm next up or more likely i'd post him a small swatch off the underside of a seat to see if he can match it.

I'm sure i've written this bit before but it didn't post, I think.
Basically we are currently looking into an alternative to the original system that will look the same . At the moment we are gauging interest . The post is probably in the members section because I can control the definate interest against those who pop on and never come back if you get my drift.
The club newsletter will be out so more members will be aware , we can then discuss it at the AGM in November , so it is an ongoing thing but will be an answer for the future. 8-)

Don't restore it ride it , remember a Kat is for riding not polishing!

oh and welcome !! ;)
