unfortunately you'd need to be a paid up member to see the members areas... classified and seperate forum bit. a few ££ to Cat and you'd be all set however :)

Hi gooner! Welcome to the forum, I actually have a 650 with standard exhausts fitted ( shame theyre not for sale) .

But I also have a set of GS650GT chrome exhausts which have the silencer mounts in different positions. They are yours for £50 posted if you want them, the silencers arnt the best though but the down pipes and collectors are solid! They could be made to look like Kat exhausts with a bit of work!

I need rid of them!

They should be the same, apart of course from the silencer mounts, which are the only difference as far as im aware. The silencers on the chrome exhausts are still complete but have signs of bloating around the seams where they are welded internally.
Id just paint them with Heat resistant Halfords BBQ paint which is quite shiny, unless they can be re-chromed.....
But chromers dont like re-chroming old exhausts as the carbon deposits inside play havoc with the chroming chemicals.............so I believe!

I cant say for sure if they would work with the aftermarket silencers but the pic shows them being pretty dam n close in respect to the mounting points!

Im away on holiday for a week so I wont be loggin in for a while! Its time I spent some of my hard earned money!

The exhaust in question from Bobster will fit the Katana, only the rear mounts will have to be adjusted a little depending if the zorst if from GT or GL model with a plate or bracket. BBQ paint will do the job but obviously wont be chrome in finsh but will be good for a year or so.
Then cut the down pipes off the silencers and hopefully we will have sorted the silencers from Italy and slide your downpipes into them .
Used pipes are hardly ever black chromed again because of the deposits , however we will be looking into the chem coat as part of this whole project. The place is in warrington not far from , but I don't want to go there with a half cocked proposal.
