Hagon Fork Springs and Anti Dive

Post by Kryten » Fri Sep 06, 2013 9:11 am

Anybody fitted Hagon progressive wound fork springs to a 750/1100 SZ?

I had a problem with the Anti Dive Modulator valve leaking oil from the actuator rod, and had to remove them to re-seal.

I know a lot of folk disconnect the brake line feed to the Anti Dive, so do they benifit from the up-rated springs or is there no discernable difference?

As there is now no longer any fork oil in the front suspension, I am wondering if there are some mods worth doing (springs, heavier oil) while I have the chance

I will not be having the Anti Dive linked to the brakes as I understand that it never realy worked well from the factory

Check this out

I blocked mine off (without the channel between the bolts), and the forks went solid.

i replaced the springs and circlips with stainless steel ones, that way they dont corrode and seize up.
