Howdy

Post by overbomber » Tue Sep 10, 2013 9:56 pm

I've been a rather infrequent lurker on here for quite some time but don't recall ever having said 'hi', and since I'm actively looking for another Kat (I sold my S3 years ago to fund the dreaded house deposit...) I thought I'd better say 'hi'.
I've also got a bit of a thing for the Gilera Nordwest and have a really nice one that's a keeper but I'd really like another Kat as I miss the 4 cylinder bark. I couldn't give a shit about modern motorcycles as it's all about the aesthetic as far as I'm concerned and 'iconic' design. That's why I like the Nordie as well, nothing else like it , or the Kat, on the road.
Oh, and I'm up in darkest Aberdeenshire. It's cold and it rains but we have whiskey......

Welcome aboard

I have been in Grampian when the sun is shining   but my favourite whisky is from Caithness 8-)

Good luck with the Kat search, but be warned, 1 is not always enough.....

I'm currently having a garage clearout of all the things that seemed like a good idea at the time - 'projects' apparently..... This should generate a wee bit of the folding stuff and clear a bit of much needed tinkering space.

How much am I looking to spend? Dunno - I sold my S3 about 5/6 years ago for less than it was probably worth and prices seemed to go a bit crazy for a while - it really depends on what's out there and how good/bad it is.
