Kat 400 oil filters

Nice to see you again, guys. Please proove or deflate the following info: Filters HIFLO HF138, MANN MW65 and CHAMPION K301 are transposable and the same.Is that true? One more question: what kind of airfilters for Kats 400 do you use. I can order the original one from Japan but it will take too much time. I found info on old version of Katanaclub site, that it's possible to use airfilter from GSX 550 with minor extras. Thnx 4 help&iadvise

400 kat (and 250) can use the gs500 suzuki twin airfilter with a slight mod (a metal insert that is pushed into the top of the filter and can be removed and put into any subsequent filters you buy) its available from the uk club, ( fossie has some i think) as the 400 filters are tricky to source. not sure about the oil filters though.

hiflo have always done me good... plus they come with a replacement o-rings in the box

Hi Flo 138 is correct and is what I use,
As for airfilters we use a GS 500 ONE WITH THE ADAPTOR .as descibed by johnr.
We supply the adaptor i'll look into postage cost to Russia. for you.
