Hi..One of you will know!!.......Weeping oil from front cylinder head cover (gasket looks cracked and oil coming from this point) on my 83 GSX 1000. Just need a gasket for for this but can only find complete sets on all sites I've tried so far...any thoughts.

Try the o-rings on the stud nuts first. Mostly like a miracle to cure oil weep.

Hold it - just re-read the post, you mean the cam cover, don't you?

You should get the gaskets as a single part at your local Zook dealer. OEM parts are best anyway.

I bought one for my 1000sz from Crooks Suzuki 01229 822342..............they had 2 in stock at the time, I nearly bought both, they are only made of laminated steel anyway.

Some people say you can spray your old one with some VHT paint and then re-fit them and jobs a good un! ;)

how many bolt holes? ive one in the shed, but you need to know which one, 20 or 24 bolt?

Thanks guys...I've ordered one through Suzuki Halesowen..Thanks for info. PS Being a novice suzuki owner on Pedda's advice I googled 'Zook'. You'll be amazed what that brings up. (Pedda...I now know what Zook means!!!!)
