Can anyone with knowledge of the models have a look at this link to all the other items off the bike at the breakers and see if any of the parts confirm which bike / model they have. If I can confirm it is not a Katana I should be able to get my money back, thanks all

I think Malc is right. Have googled the Yamaha XJ900 fairing bracket and it is identicle to what I have been sent. Have now messaged the seller to give them a chance before opening a dispute. Lets hope they have the right one somewhere!

if you havent heard anything back by now id open a dispute anyway. sooner the better tbh and gets everyones attention.

can't beat a bit of GNR! Ebay have resolved dispute. I have to send it back for a refund, but I have to pay the return post. seems a bit unfair as it is the breakers fault!
