Bollocks! I wanted to come along and totally forgot as it's not so far from me. I need to add the date to something electronic next time so it reminds me.
How did you do? From your signature there OK I guess...

All went pretty much ok, did what I needed to do and not really any more, just wanted to get the thing to the end of the meeting and season without anymore hiccups. Won all my class races except the first superbike race when my rear sprocket carrier bearing spun in the carrier and caused the sprocket to freely slide in and out by enough to send the bike into a shudder on left handers, fixed with good old JB weld and back out for the next race

Alas I think my time with the Katana has come to an end, I've achieved what I wanted and more on the bike, I was mainly in it for the Production class but to come away with the superbike championship aswell is beyond what I though possible. there's not much I can do to improve the bike for Production class, some more suspension work to make it more consistant is about it. for superbike I could brace the frame change the forks and swingarm, tune the engine etc, but with consistency I've won that one on a near standard bike.. I want a new challenge now but I've not got any money to go racing anymore, I don't own the Katana so it's not like I can keep hold of it for the odd outing.
I could rebuild my XJ600 engine and just to 2 or 3 meetings for fun, it wouldn't be competitive over a season against the FZ600's but at the right tracks it can do really well and probably pinch a win or two. other than that there's a chance the crmc will finally let the liquid cooled 750 race, these were the bikes raced back in the day but currently not allowed. I have a Honda VFR750 that I could prep to race, would it be competitive I don't know yet and any rules are not available as yet. I need a good sponsor to race a season or to be offered a ride that covers most costs too, or it's just the odd race or retire..
