Long Time Lurker Saying Hi

Post by Danm54 » Thu Feb 19, 2015 10:32 pm

Hi all, been browsing these boards for a while now wishing one day I'd own a Katana, still not there really but collecting parts for a build.
Currently got an 1100 ET frame and secured a 750 Katana motor with carbs and a front end.

Got a couple of other bikes too but they're probably not for this forum.

:D

Hi and welcome. If your after parts a lot of peeps on here have sheds/garages etc stuffed to the brim with parts. However..........most of them are hoarders :) ;) apart from one or 2 lovely people .......but they will only sell to paid up members ;)

Just saying ;)

Cheers. At the minute I'm not actively looking for parts but if something comes up at the right price...

As for the other bikes, got a gsxr 1100w, has 1.5mm oversized high comp pistons and an akra exhaust but otherwise standard.

Came off at Silverstone in 2013 so it needs a little tlc on the bodywork...
Replaced the side fairing and screen but it needs a paint job at some point.

Also got a DR350, bit rough but mechanically sound. Only really gets ridden off road and I seem to fall off a lot...

Then the current project, oil cooled gsxr frame with watercooled motor, T3/4 turbo with single draw through throttle body, fuel injection using Microsquirt V3 with injectors in the plenum. K4 extended swinger and Buell rear wheel, got a Buell front end going in too.

Did look like this at Manchester last year.

Currently at this stage with a few more bits fitted since this pic.

And finally, the gsx ET. Only really got this...

looks like you've got a lot to keep you busy, at least they're all suzukis and four strokes, you'll probably be let off the hook! :)
