If it was the cut out switches surly it wouldn't attempt to pop it wouldn't even spin?
Does anyone have a description for the choke cable routing? I'm thinking it has to be fuel side unfortunately and the air box looks like a pair to get out? And any other tips on changing the two middle spark plugs? Looks awkward to get at?
Cheers guys I really appreciate all of this

Re: Idle adjuster
If there are sparks at the two outside plugs then I wouldn't bother messing with the inner ones for now.
My initial thought was just that little fingers may have loosened or swapped some leads.
If it starts (with or without Easystart), runs for a second and then fades away, then my bet would be on a lack of fuel or air...
Nothing blocking exhaust or air intake presumably?
Nothing untoward in the fuel?
Choke looks to be working?
Maybe rig up a temporary fuel supply straight to the carb inlet line?
Hope you sort this soon.

Re: Idle adjuster
The inner plugs are right coil, so usual suspects.
To get to them is quite easy really, take off tank, quarter fairing panels, this allows access to enough room get a plug spanner in with an open end spanner on top. You can unbolt the thermostat housing and move it a little aswell if needed.
Another documented issue is the plug leads look like they are attached but the long reach works loose if not tight on.
Is the choke cable still attached to the knob and does it move the slide all the way. The correct routing is almost never replicated, I know mind wasn't even from Japan.
