Katana750 decals - wrong now right
Nothing in life is ever simple...
The latest example is part of my still unfinished winter tidy-up. I decided to repaint the panels because the previous owner had sprayed them plain white and the decals were the wrong size and there were a few cracks and so on.
I won't describe here the horrors of spraying white basecoat + pearl white + 2K lacquer in the garden shed.
The seat base has the 'Katana750' decals at the rear.
The OE 'emblems' are still available from Suzuki but have a pearl white background which may or may not match the new paint (and are about £15 each).
I ordered a pair from The Image Works (which look identical to the ones always on ebay) and £10 later they turned up.
The design was wrong, see the picture.
Maybe I'm the first one to have ever bought these in the last thirty years?
After a bit of discussion they have now updated their design and sent new ones which look ok.
They can also supply the '750Katana' version if you want to have a more symmetrical looking rear.
I've also ordered a set from BDesigns and I'll compare them when they arrive.
Here's a game of spot the difference -

The bottom one is the correct style?
There are a pair of genuine decals on easyauctionjapan at moment

The bottom one is supposed to be correct, but I'm getting paranoid now...
I expect the BDesigns ones to be exact repros (apart from having clear backgrounds) but still waiting for them.

The bottom one is the same as the pair on the Japan Auction site.
They are in Suzuki Genuine Parts plastic bags with the part numbers visible. Although I guess they will have the Pearly White background. There is also a pair of tank decals as well

Can I join in? The OEM decals are not sided, so added letters or dashes are irrelevant....both sides should be like the bottom one.
Do I score ANARAK points?

.....and the pair on Easyauctionjapan are indeed not handed without the hyphen and with added "S"
Fossie, I think you can add a Tartan Flask to your ANARAK
