wow really? i wish i had the money you have... full repaint as the tank decals are the wrong colour and the paint is great? i could see your point to a degree if it was some super rare, high value, one of a kind ride but for an EZ? wow, i applaud your dedication to the cause but imho feel you're taking it a step far ;)

I know, I know - I guess these things become a bit obsessive way beyond their value!
The killer is that the bike is so original which is why I bought it - it's even got the original tyres, exhaust and shocks which were all taken off and boxed up back in the 80's when the guy fitted period bling like we all did (Harris exhaust, Koni's and tyres which actually gripped the road).
It's all in the mind but whenever I look at the shiny paintwork gleaming on the carpet I just can't help looking at the decals!
I bought the Suzuki tank decals as these are the only bits still available so guess it's time for a cold hard think and see if I can convince myself the current paintwork is OK or bite the wallet and have a second go!!
I'll get some pics loaded up when I get a second and figure out how to!
I should also join the club properly if noone objects to a semi-kat bike on the members list!

Cant argue with that.

My Kat cost a fair bit to sort out and it still has a "Boat-Anchor" in it

My brother is rebuilding a 750ES that he took tarmac surfing in Belgium back in the days of Pre-History. Got a bloke in Norwich (AirFX) to do the paint. I took one look at it and 1 hour later the rest of the bike was dismantled in order to get the rest up to the same standard. A 750ES is worth about £25.00 and 2 pork pies at the last check :o :o     but it was his first post divorce bike, and will look pretty damned good when finished.
