Hello there chaps and chapesses fromn Philthy on the Wirral!

I had a Kat for about 10 years but had to sell it to raise funds and have regretted it ever since.
I'm in the process of selling a couple of bikes ( KLR650 and a Norton 16H ) and my thoughts have turned to getting another one to take me into my dotage. The one I sold went to a chap who intended to do it up and I'm wondering if anyone on here might know of its whereabouts. It was a yank import from D&K 1000 in silver, reg no YEH798X.

As I am built like a Gibbon the riding position is probably better suited to my crumbling joints these days. I've even thought about bringing one in from Japan but the costs appear to be prohibitive at the moment.

Hello - I've been down the regretting selling my 1100 road before as well, and had to get another. Good luck with the search.

I checked the DVLA Tax status of your bike and it says the Tax was due 01/09/1999, so it hasn't been taxed since then (according to their records) hence not on the road. So hard to tell what it's state is - parted out or sitting in someone garage still.

Thanks for that. I hope it's still sitting in the garage of the chap I sold it to. The annoying thing is that I had his address until 3 years ago when we moved house and had a big clear out of ' Stuff '
