did you check that your tank isnt rusty inside? give it a clean out then fit a fuel filter with a magnet araldited to the side of it. the magnet will pick up all the dusty bits of rust that will go straight through a fuel filter and will stop them getting into the carbs and clogging stuff up and making it leak.
did you change the small o rings on the brass bodies of the needle valve bodies inside the carbs, they go brittle with age, or if they get dried out, and then split and leak.

John, tanks clean inside.
Used my last 4 o-rings of that size as they'd done exactly that.

dont forget the magnet trick, you need to buy neobdymium magnets, theyre dirt cheap on ebay but are bogglingly powerful. stick one on the fuel filter, at a push put them on the bottom of the tank round the fuel tap, they will remove the dusty rust that will form in any tank.
