Re: 1100 Clocks
The clocks stop at 180 kph because that is the Japanese maximum.
So it isn't cc related but market..... Euro 750 are like 1100/1000 ones and go to 240 km/h.
Of course it you had a yank set they could actually only go up to 80 mph !

Re: 1100 Clocks
euro clocks pop up occasionally, but they tend to be advertised on ebay in europe, so unless you have your ebay search peramiters set to worldwide or europewide, then you will most likely only see uk ones. clearly, the kph clocks are more sought after in europe cos theyre all kph bikes, only us, south africa, and the antipodeans got mph clocks, aside from the yanks who, depending on state got either the same spec 155mph clocks that we had, or else the 85mph clocks stipulated by individual state laws, (the mindset was that you were less likely to speed if your speedo didnt go too high, the acceptable level being 55mph +30mph, allowing you to travel interstate to places with 70mph limits. i suppose that if you couldnt boast that you had seen 150mph, then you were less likely to actually try. all bobbins of course, but since when did the people who make vehicle regulations ever have any actual common sense?

Re: 1100 Clocks
of course, you could get a set of 400 or 250 clocks which are 180kph, then fit a kph/mph adaptor to give you a set of 180mph clocks, all the fittings and wiring is the same, and 400/250 clocks dont seem as sought after as the big kats because people dont seem to realise that they fit all the models.
