After seeing the eBay pic that was posted on here with the black Kat fitted with a Vapor dash it got my grey matter moving
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-Gsx-k ... 0276.m3476
As my standard instrument binnacle is comprehensively f****d I’m thinking of fitting one instead of having mine repaired after a £450 quote!
So the questions are:
Are they easy to fit bearing in mind I’m an electrical Luddite?
Do you think the unit will fit inside the standard speedo/tacho case with all the standard gubbins removed? I can’t find any dimensions on the website for the Vapor unit?
http://www.trailtechproducts.co.uk/
I will source another casing so I’ve got the option to revert to standard if I ever wanted to.
There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

have you pics of the clocks you have? if you get a better set, would you consider selling your knackered set? we like to collect clocks for spare parts for club members, but our stock is pretty depleted now.

Well I was hoping to have mine repaired at some point in the future (when I win the lottery lol) as I think the combined clock set looks the dogs or should that be Kats
Thanks for the info Fossie I’ll drop Spondonchris a pm about the kmh clocks.

Pity they don’t work properly
Our very own Fossie who lives close to me has seen the bike and thinks the problem might be the wrong drive fitted to the head? I don’t suppose in your spares stash you would have a correct drive you would be prepared to sell? My bike has a 19” front wheel and mph speedo

Paul I reckon if you pull off the glass remove the mph face and below it will be the km/h ones.
Placing a blue speedo cable convertor at the clock end will make the speedo read in mp/h but only the bottom of the clock will be used0-80.
