So I'm looking at hostels in Hamburg for the Thursday night. So will need to count up the numbers people together. Got a basic search of a hosel near the Hauptbahnhof.....( main railway station).....remember! 2x 2 person rooms , and 2x 4 persons rooms £400 which works out to £ thirty odd quid each.

Had a quick look at hotels. com to check out the area Guest review :"The hotel is close to the station. The area is awful unless you like : Prostitutes Pimps Drug dealers Kebabs Sex shops"

Personally I would prefer somewhere with secure parking and not central Hamburg! I guess that maybe harder to find for a group though. I'll see what Kryten wants to do as well, but I could possibly camp as I'll have my tent. I haven't booked my ferry yet...

Did quick Google for a Motorcycle friendly hotel and found:

that has underground secure bike parking (extra €5) and a drying room in case the summer, isn't.

I also realised that Demark doesn't do Euro's! So some Krone will be required.

To be honest I through in the hostel idea because I knew that searches will have been done by others and I was going for cheapest overnight accommodation as a benchmark.

Uncle bob the touring hotel thing seems ok. Do you want to make enquiries for us , 13 possibly 14 if jmac is going to join us. 3 couples , the rest single lads .
