Paint colour - touch up stick?

Post by flufflonsdale » Mon Apr 23, 2018 6:57 am

Morning all. I picked up a couple of stone chips on the tank of my 1100 at weekend. What’s a decent match off the shelf at Halfords to touch them up? Cheers in advance.

Be interested how you get on with that, if you feel like doing some before and after images...

Happy to Bob. Although I’m not 100% certain my bike is original silver. Fossie knows some of its history prior to me getting it in 2005. Seem to recall it having a new tank prior to that.

that nissan colour isnt to bad.. .the flake in it is quite a bit bigger than 13l but would be hard to see if just using on a few stone chips... srpay a bit in the cap and use a small brush to get it in the chip. should be circa £7 a can

Has anyone got any idea what the paint code is for the red on my tank?
I’ve got a few paint chips to fill in.
