UB..We ain't never 'ad any issues filtering in Germany , in fact the last time the local drivers applauded at our 'lesson' taught to an Audi. Filtering in a group is different than on your own. obviously instead of chasing the gap for one keeping a steady speed that all can follow is the order of the day.
Our first EK ....now that was filtering.....extreme filtering
Sparki I gave up on waterproofs years ago 'cos they ain't ....can I be excused from carrying such dead weight.

I hope you lucky lucky barstewards have a great trip. Don’t forget to post regular updates with loads of pics, and if you get to visit some of the more (ahem) “interesting” parts of Hamburg please post some pics
I’m gutted I couldn’t make this EK but with luck and a following wind I should make the next one.

I was going to email the Hamburg Hotel and give them a ETA of 18:00 as these places like to know!

We should be organising the next EK ...I have 3 or 4 possible ideas ( locations)

no not my gaff ala France ....but.........
Anyway just strapped luggage on ....gone for no sleeping get bedding there option.

aye... way i see it is anything that i put over my jeans is better than jeans on their own... have a reasonable jacket/trousers so they'll keep it out for a lil while lol...
re filtering... i aint sitting in traffic in pissing rain, so as fossie mentions, group is easier than single and unless there's 2 wagons on narrow lanes, you should be ok to get through... it'll feel like a std days work for fossie anyway
