Re: New Katana ?
So I guess Suzuki have been following JohnR's social media etc for style ideas (or he's been consulting on the side!) as looks like they are going to release a "Black" version of the new Katana.

Re: New Katana ?
be interesting to see the full launch. Its not just the paint that's wrong with the new one is it. They have probably seen all the comments on social media and are trying to do something about it

Re: New Katana ?
I have to disagree, I think the Black version with the optional extra looks pretty damn good...
They've improved the silver one as well, which I think i prefer...!
Good to see the Italians haven't gone the PC route and stopped a bit of glamour, like everywhere else seems to.

Love the fact that in a case next to it is a pop up, which looks better.

Re: New Katana ?
I'm sure it will be like that at Motorcycle LIVE at the NEC - we should all plan to go along and annoy them asking when that great looking bike with the popup light will be released!fossie wrote:![]()

Re: New Katana ?
OK, so let’s get the Finbarr Saunders* out of the way first!
I rather like the front view, but the rear is not quite right......
I suspect that as we speak Unicorn or Ohno-Speed are working on a proper Kat seat/tail unit to finish the job off properly.
That swing arm mounted number plate and light assembly is just not a good look.

https://youtu.be/ktATK1kebK8 Check out this vid at 10mins 29secs, there is a pannier set for the new Kat ! with a less than 100 mile tank range I suppose you could fit a couple of Halfords plastic petrol tanks in there
