Re: Manc'ee Kat 2019 (NABD)
I have a Vango banshee 200 tent. It is really good quality. The pack is very small. Never leaked.
Vango quote the weight as 2.4kg,
The tent is very easy to erect on your own and takes less than 10 minutes; the peg loops, pole clips and guide ropes are all fit for purpose and secure once up. The main reason I went for this model was to use for motorbike touring - it is perfect for this and once packed away it fits nicely into my top box.

Blix matey are you travelling alone? Why would bother with putting the tent on a rack? Indeed why bother with a rack ? The 5kg limit is just, a you can't sue us figure ....common sense overrides it!
Packing all you kit on a rack with no pillion or wieght on the seat leads to interesting handle on motorways or faster A roads...

I've had the Vango Omega 350 (3 man) for years, very water proof & packs down small, along with short poles fit in the panniers. Nice size for taking short hikes in the tent in the mornings, can almost stand up inside
I always travel light
Tank bag great for resting chin on, on long journeys.

Re: Manc'ee Kat 2019 (NABD)
People definitely coming to NABD may want to consider getting a ticket in advance as there is a 3000 limit on the venue, so there is a possibility that you could get turned away, not likely, but possible. Fossie can go and get a ticket from NABD office and give it you on the day, plus it will only cost £30 instead of £35.
if at first you succeed, don't look suprised.

Added more names......the site has been altered, apparently due to the original field not harvested yet......no drama it will be signed, just a bit further along.

Re: Manc'ee Kat 2019 (NABD)
I hope it’s dry on Friday night? I’ve bought a new tent for the occasion after my disaster with the fekkin pop up I had last year and I don’t fancy putting an unfamiliar tent up in the pissing rain
There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Re: Manc'ee Kat 2019 (NABD)
Visited the veterans garage today ....they finally built all the bikes up , so we won't be required to do that but I thought we'd still go there on a ride out, because there is a cafe and it's for the veterans charity.
It's about 40 miles round trip. So not too far and can be done using back roads with scenery.
