Looking for options to get a set of Stainless downpipes for my 1100, in order to fit a 'replica' Harris end can.
I know that there are some specialists that would fabricate some but are there any suppliers with 'off the shelf' downpipes that will fit a katana?
It appears that Delkevic do a GS1000 set: https://delkevic.co.uk/downpipes/Suzuki/GS1000/1980/
Will these fit? Or are there other bikes systems that fit?
TIA

Re: Stainless Downpipes
OK, just come off the phone from a helpful chap at Delkevic. He said that outlet pipes OD are 63-64mm which suits their silencers (and not the Harris rep that I was looking at fitting).
Also the GS1000 downpipe would fit but people that have done that have had 'grounding' problems.
They do have a Katana 1100 system in development that will be offered with either their Classic Straight or Megaphone silencer around the £320 ish mark he reckoned. Available in 6-8 weeks.
So looks like my search continues........anyone any leads or potential suppliers of a bespoke set of headers (there is a chap in Whitehaven I think - Exhaust Craft. Anyone any knowledge or experience of their work?

Re: Stainless Downpipes
The Eagle Mach 7 I have on my 1100 is stainless, but whether they would sell just the downpipes I don't know. They won't be cheap though as they seemed to have shot up in price since I bought mine. I could get the OD for you if required.

I wasn't aware of the brand at all before you mentioned it. They do indeed appear to be expensive.Uncle Bob wrote:I could get the OD for you if required.

An OD wouldn't hurt as an indicator but don't sweat it. Thanks.

Re: Stainless Downpipes
Been on the phone to Dave at Exhaust Craft in Whitehaven this afternoon. I'll be getting him to make me up a Harris rep in Stainless as soon as I have some spare cash available. Interesting chap to talk to.
I'll drop some photos once it's done.
