Royal Enfield Crusader sports 1955 nearly as old as me

I was sixteen when the 1100 Katana was first on sale, I was a lucky sod whose parents had just bought me a brand new H**da MT50 rode it to school for six months, only kid with a crash helmet in the classroom! then got a job as a telegram boy for the Royal Mail and they got me through my moped test so I was one of only a few 'sixteeners' with no 'L' plates on my bike
used to buy mags like motorcycle mechanics and when I saw the new Katana my jaw hit the floor, still think it looks amazing to this day.

1966 Royal Enfield Crusader......3 years younger than I was when it was my main transport (and mechanical learning aid!)
