For those not on FB then Alexandre appeared with his original Katana in a French Review of the new one!
I only understood "Suzuki" and "Katana" but a good watch none the less (got me eager for the French roads down to EK9 next year if nothing else!)

Great interview. Strange riding boots from that journalist. Thought the same about that rain, I’d be very unhappy but a deal is a deal.

I think the French have a slightly different view on safety than others. Down in Provence many years ago I was surprised to see a French motorcyclist riding around with reckless disregard for the safety of his elbow. He was wearing his crash helmet on his head! Zut alors!

You are right but... could say the French have a ‘different’ view on everything

I remember when the Tour de France first made a diversion across to the U.K. The cyclists came off the ferry accompanied by French police motorcyclist outriders dressed in helmet, ray bans, short sleeve shirt and trousers. all that was missing was the Disc Bleu held in the side of the mouth.
They were met by the British police bikes not only in full leathers but a huge yellow hi-viz jacket on top. Ideal for riding in high 70's sunny weather, still health and safety lads, health and safety.
