Hi All, I’ve finally added a Kat to the Stable. I am sure many of you will recognise the bike.

Well nice to see it back on our club forum , a lot of us followed its rebirth from a hedge dweller to this incarnation . Well done We assume you came an agreement with Pete as it was pulled from listing , Eitherway at current market prices it was very very reasonable.

Many thanks for the welcome. I have been here for ages waiting for a Kat at sensible money to pop up. Hence ‘finally’ ! I still feel I stole it from Pete at 4.4k it’s definitely way below what I thought I would have to pay to join the exclusive Kat owners. When it first appeared on your eBay link page I searched Pete out on your old forum and ACS and enjoyed reading the build story and banter. I am swapping out the Chinese rear shocks to ohlins tomorrow. I definitely want a better exhaust, I measured the headers and they are from a 750 so will post a wanted add soon. I will join as a full member tonight/tomorrow and look forward to be given the keys to the rest of the sight.
Pete asked me to say hello and that he still likes black wheels !!

Very nice mate, I’ve been ogling that bike myself.
Welcome to the madhouse, lots of knowledgable peeps on here who have sorted all the usual problems that crop up. A warning though most of us are bonkers

Thanks again for the warm welcome chaps. I look forward to tapping into the knowledge you lot have. I will be compiling a list of questions and bits I need in the forthcoming weeks. So any help or direction will be most welcome. I want to swap the exhaust out as soon as possible so if you have anything hanging in your sheds please let me know. I am looking for a 4 into 1 if possible.
