Surely riding position is better than looks! When I rode the demo the bars were perfect , most of ours have higher bars on now.
Just waiting for the "green " S2 colour way with the original style tillers Now that'll be something!

Now I’m an old git but I find mine comfortable for up to two hours at a time. Admittedly that’s as far as I’ve been in one go but even my old CB900 F2 a supposedly touring bike was only comfy for that long?
There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!
A quote from my old dad
I started out with nothing and I’ve got most of it left!

Some valid points there about the vagueness.....yeah S2 is definatley more remote and possibly slower feel than the S3 ...which is essentially the same set up and when that is compared to the ES I had for years , again the same but with taller bars , yeah it was less definite ...
As for for the red thing they are promoting , you are defiantly right.

I've actually fitted 20mm SW Motech bar risers on mine, they were for the Suzuki GSX S1000F and are a perfect fit. Sadly my days of riding bikes with clip ons and rear sets are long gone. My last GSX1100SD had a top yoke conversion fitted.

Yoshimura also do a set which are lower... but also needs modified steering stops as they don’t clear the ‘tank’ on full lock.

I have never liked low bars, not even at the track. I feel when too much of my weight is on the front end it hinders my ability to make changes. Like trying to assemble a puzzle while in a push up position.
I know I'm of the minority due to race bikes having near triangular ergonomics. I do "ride proud" as in sitting tall and upright just like Kevin Schantz.
