It’s a lovely thing to tool about on and I had it up to an indicated 85mph yesterday
It’s a little bit lacking in the go department compared to Beelzebitch though

I can't believe I watched 3.02m of video of a 2-stroke, waiting, waiting, here it comes - The end! Arrgh! you didn't start it, I was waiting for the sound, even if the smell would be denied. Please can you do a video with a start up, pretty please... with sugar on.

It is a thing of beauty though, you've done a cracking job on that, impressed, I might have to come to you for some pointers.

The T500 was Suzuki’s first “big” bike. Thousands of them ended up over your side of the pond. Mine came from Illinois originally, well Japan but you know what I mean

Viewed it to compare the changes from the T to the GT 500, which I had and loved ....( left hand kickstart is an acquired taste.) toured on it raced it for half a season in a local series in Wiltshire.
The GT didn't come with the Yank bars thankfully , and it was like a four stroke 2 stroke as in the power and was not like most 2 strokes but linear power handled well and very comfy.....but the smell well same as my GT185 as was the crackle from the zorst...until the baffles flew out like a torpeo! Was quite a shiny as this one but it sparkled in the sun ( metal flake red ).

Yes your right about the motor, no powerband to speak of just smooth (ish) power all the way to the red line. As you say very comfy to ride especially with the high bars. I’ve had a GT500 in the past and loved it but I’ve always preferred the look of the T500. I also raced one for a few years, lightened crank with stuffers, Inchly gearbox, ported barrels and expansion chambers. 72 rear wheel bhp!
Not too good on twisty tracks but fast.
