Rare 1100

Post by Kryten » Fri Nov 18, 2022 10:29 am

Down in Folkestone.

Fitted with the popular 18" rear wheel conversion.....

Alternatively it's a GS75X that's had an 1100 donkey fitted at some time.

Looks ok, but priced into GS110X territory

I saw this an had to smile at "18" rear which was a popular conversion ....." ...Not in a local universe it wasn't !
The clocks are obviously Jap ..and with that redline probably 750 ...and we won't mention that made for the Japanese market in 1982 .....I think not the 1100/1000 was not allowed in Japan market in those days , any 1100 registered was a grey import to Japan ...
So it's best just to view the bike as a 40 year old Katana which has been kept going like the rest of ours and not get involved in the rarity , which it is technically is because there won't be another made up from the same bits 💤😄😄😅😅
