I wont be able to make this now as I have a funeral to attend Saturday, looks like brilliant weather, hope that you all have a great meet!

Re: Manc'ee Kat 2026
Got back home just before 5 o'clock.
Unfortunately with the Kat in the back of a recovery truck!
Arrived at the junction at Owler Bar and the clutch cable failed.
No spare obviously and Start Rescue seem to have a policy of just recovering bikes.
Anyway they were pretty efficient and SOS Motorcycle Transport were absolutely spot on in getting me back.
You couldn't make it up

Home by 11, good to catch up with everyone again, even though I only managed the one evening. And thanks all for the trophy, don’t know what I did to earn it but it’s appreciated

Re: Manc'ee Kat 2026
Kryten how odd we were only discussing SOS recovery at breakfast... saving fuel eh?
We were home by 12 ish .
It's a long story which I will cover in the newsletter write up , but involves vans and relaying...but |Rob Kneeshaw ended up in Barnsley hospital for x ray and CT scan following an off when he locked up his pop up front brakes near the M1 junction . Anyway up shot is he's home , now his bike is OK but needs an alternator cover and plastic welding on the fairing .. His cracked shoulder and bruising on his leg may take a bit more time however .
oh well is basically his reaction

Re: Manc'ee Kat 2026
My main worry was “how many starts were left in the battery?”
Not “how many junctions were left in the clutch cable?”
Which is clearly nowhere near the “A Spoilt Day” as Rob has had. Send him my best wishes!
