insurance for modified bikes
hi there
we all know footmans do great quotes for standard (and standard ish) kats etc
any companies that are similar for highly modified bikes (obvioulsy with agreed value, due to cost of rebuilding, rather than what they are worth)

Re: insurance for modified bikes
Got all my mods declared on an "e-bike" policy, there's not a special agreed value that i know of, i just put the bikes value in the options.
Mods on the efe are, forks/wheels/swingarm/carbs/paint/big bore/brakes...pretty much everything exept the frame/headlight/clocks and back light...

£165 WOW
You must be like 150 years old with 130 years no claims and only do 5 miles a year to get a price like that

Re: insurance for modified bikes
you take out a policy with an agreed valuation. when you take it out you send pictures and a report of whats been done to it to the company along with your valuation of it. they look at the stuff you send and if they agree they will send you a letter agreeing its value. and thats that. the valuation is binding both ways, you wont get more in the event of a loss and they wont give less.
