How do…

Post by Max350lc » Thu Sep 03, 2026 11:57 pm

Newish owner of a very nice 1100 kat.
Previous owner John, spent a mountain of money on it, and it shows.
To be honest, I change bikes often, let’s say I’m in excess of 160.
Never had more than six at one time….and completed the sports two strokes section.
I’m knocking on now, and started off on sports mopeds.
Had enduros, trials,Italians,Germans….but no Harley’s.
Something about 70s/80s/90s bikes that hits the spot.
Never really considered a Katana..back in the day it was big Zeus and
Gpz’s for me.
So for the Katana I thought a couple of months and I’ll pass it on….
Well those months have passed and I’ve put 1200 trouble free miles on it
And all of my years in a daft racing crouch, have allowed me adapt to the riding position,
Looks like I’m a convert.
Hopefully see some of you daft buggers out there.

Ps I’m in shipston on stour.
Local cafes
Piston club
Fat Bobs
Caffeine and machine
Revs Automobilia
Gilks.

Welcome, have you still got a two stroke bike ? I've owned a Kawasaki Kr-1 from new (1989) passed it's 34th mot last week with no problems, don't want to get into trouble on here so i'll just say that I love my Katana as well, ride safe

Love your bike….
Looking for a kr1… but need to shift something first.
Have a Gilera Saturno, a zrx400r, and the Kat.
Had all of the sporting strokers with the Tzr250r 3XV being my fave.
