Its Not a common issue at all, in fact I have never heard off anyone so daft who only used instant gasket as a substitute for a gasket before 
(please dont bite) ...............0.5mm is a very big tolerance in motorcycle engine terms! 
I also dont need to know your type of tools, the weather, or the fact that you use ACF50 through the winter.
But as you appear to want to share this very important information................Fire away!
I personally use any spanner handy at the time, im not a fan of snap-on or Brittool spanners...but I do like the feel of a Big dick in my hand, as long as it's one of my own ( spanners that is)
As for the weather.......I dont give a flying fook at the mo.......as long as it's not raining when I come to work or go home!
I have never used ACF50 but I have heard many good things about the spray!
Also if you knew me like a lot of people on the forum who do ....... you'll find im as daft as a brush and wouldnt hurt a flee unless they had a rugby ball in their hands, and were running towards me with it at the time!
So lighten up and take note of the Smilies in future!
And dont take any notice of callyboy.....................because he's even dafter than I am!
Now is that enough Smilies.....or to quote McCauly Culkin in Home alone 1 .......do you want some more?
