Re: can you bake your brake calipers in the oven.....
curing can be achieved by many different ways, for safetys sake, id leave them in the sun on a window ledge for a few days first to allow all the aromatics to evaporate, as for oven baking, you need to use an electric oven, not gas, obviously theres the risk of vapours igniting in a gas oven, but the main risk with gas is the moisture content of the air in there when you are heating stuff, you could just leave them in the airing cupboard to cure, prolonged low heat is probably as good as short high heat.
see, i was the only one singled out to take the piss, and ive been the only one to give you a straight answer.
ive a small electric cooker similar to a baby belling in the shed, that i use to cure small painted parts, i never heat stuff to more than 100degrees c in it anyhow.

Jez, you know all the bald blokes say that they are not bothered about not having hair ?
Well i miss mine everyday
I used to have real Marc Bolan long curly hair. If i ever won the lottery, apart from getting a nanny to look after my kids, i would get a hair transplant !!!

Pete, for the air transplant it is painfull as hell. I have one of my mate whom did it about 10 years ago and as well as cost him 5 years of saving it was horribly painfull and he told me never ever!!! And he did not last ....
For the exhaust I will go for the baffle (the link you sent me, but first I need to open it to buy the right thing, tomorrow if the house job is not too long), the wadding, and I found a stainsteel inlet from ebay which should fit.
So I should be sorted for about €50, and have peace in mind when I ride.
I am hoping to get those tyre, by this end of the week so I can fit them soon the handling is not perfect.
Thanks again for the help, I am making great progress because of you lads!!!!
