Just noticed that this tank has a fuel gauge sender on it ? and also a pipe coming out from it as well (on the sender) whats that all about then ? my kat doesnt have a fuel gauge. Is it from a 650 or something ? Is it to connect one side of the tank to the other ? My other tank dont have one.

so many questions :)

Thanks

Pete

Yep its probably a 650GZ tank................they had fuel gauges and anti-dive forks!
Im Quite sure that the 550 and 650 tanks were the same size and shape!it obviously fits your bike real nice! But Im sure someone will be along very soon to tell you otherwise if i am wrong!

Maybe you should look out for a set of later GS650GZ clocks with a fuel gauge incorporated.............for an upgrade!

Cheers Bobster. seems to fit ok like you say. What would the pipe coming out from the sender be for ?

Thanks
