worlds best commute to work

Post by johnr » Thu Aug 04, 2011 4:22 pm

so my boss rang me today and asked if i can just drive to stornaway on the isle of lewis, and do some gas boiler services! 568 miles, 12 hours drive and one ferry trip. across the highlands of scotland. and then return and do some more work across the villages and towns of the highlands via inverness and down to edinburgh. and thus home, one week, 7 hotels, and a lot of my fave scenery interspaced with a bit of working! i never really dislike my job, but right now i particularly love it!

will have to look at the pictures to remind me where it is, ive literally just come in from a fortnight of 13 hour night shifts, its now early fri morning, and on sat aft all being well, im off up north. so i doubt the 1100 will be done for the mgp, but the bsa and the honda and bmw that im taking are all running well enough to go in the van anyway.
