Fred61 - First EK I went to I was in the naughty corner (though I was on a Suzuki...). Plenty of time :-), though you need to get those forks away for rechroming as I think 12 weeks is about the time scale (if you are lucky)!
FYI there is a thread on redoing the Popup light control box, if yours plays up.
So about the same length of time it takes Kryten to sonic hedgehog my carbs then :o

I'm looking at leaving Portsmouth Tuesday 11th on the Fast Cat, to Cherbourg arriving 15:00, down to Fossies, join the rest to EK9, I worked out it's about 300m to Moto 99 from Fossies, then 175m to EK9 on the Friday, then taking a slow ride back getting back to Fossies by the 18th, slow boat from Caen back to Blighty on the 20th.

Cam seems to be the case, the major difficulty in organising anything is people haven't booked dates off yet ...or let anyone else know...Also AUGUST , ferries are so damned expensive that some may wish to do alternative ports/ stations and travel from there to either mine or rally depending on date of landing on French soil.
It's going to easier if regions organise between them selves , through here if possible..I've fluff and yourselves, may find that a mutual date / time is possible.

Route ok with me Bob, But I may be heading for the naughty step... Suzuki GSX750 ES. Kitchen currently has various bits of Pop up being re conditioned front end completely missing although the head stock bearings are here, the forks need to go for re chroming.....and I've been scotch locked in the head light wiring loom department and trying to figure out how it should go and its nearly March
Bob, sounds ok to me. My preference would be to take one of the more leisurely options on the way back. EK8 return was a blast (literally) but I would like to see a bit more this time. Reduced use of Autoroutes sounds good.
